What it is

A guide that changes as the baby grows

Most of what exists about early motherhood is written for "babies" in general. But a three-week-old newborn and an eight-month-old have almost nothing in common — not the crying, not the sleep, not what keeps the mother awake.

Mothers App starts from your baby's date. On every visit it works out the current stage and shows only what belongs to that moment. At two months it talks about the witching hour; at six, about starting solids; at twelve, about first steps. Nobody has to go looking for anything.

Who it's for

First-time mothers — pregnant, or already holding the baby

If you're pregnant, you start with the week counter, the essentials list and the checklist of what to settle before the birth. When the baby arrives, the app switches stages on its own and moves on to crying, sleep and feeding.

It works whether you breastfeed or you don't. It works whether you have help around you or you're alone at three in the morning.

Como funciona

Você informa a data

How it works

You enter the date

Your baby's date of birth, or your due date if you're still pregnant.

The app builds your stage

It works out the age and shows the guide for that moment — not the one for "babies" in general.

And it updates itself

Every new stage changes the content. Nothing to search for, choose or configure.

Onde funciona

Where it runs

In the browser, nothing to install

It runs on any phone, Android or iPhone, straight from the browser. There's nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play — you sign in with your email and you're in. The language follows yours: Portuguese, English or Spanish.

What it is not

Mothers App is an educational parenting guide. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe, does not assess your baby, and does not replace a visit to your pediatrician or a lactation consultant. At any red flag the app plainly says to seek care — and nothing read there should delay an appointment.

There is also no way to know with certainty what a cry means. What the app offers is the recognition of patterns typical of each stage, and suggestions of what to try first. Promising more than that would be dishonest.

Perguntas frequentes

Funciona no meu celular?

Frequently asked

Does it work on my phone?

It runs in any browser, Android or iPhone. Nothing to install.

Is it useful while I'm still pregnant?

Yes, and that's the best time to start. You get the week counter, the essentials list, the contraction timer and the pre-birth checklist. When the baby is born, the app switches stages on its own.

Is the content the same for everyone?

No. It's worked out from your baby's date. What you see at two months isn't what you'll see at eight.

Which languages is it available in?

Portuguese, English and Spanish. The content is written in each language, not machine-translated.

Is it useful if I don't breastfeed?

Yes. The feeding section covers the breast, formula, bottles and expressed milk, without judgment on any of those paths.
